CNG Bus Service by LTC in Lahore

LTC (Lahore Transport Company) is starting New environment friendly CNG Bus Service for the citizens of Lahore from November 15th, 2011. This low cost CNG Bus service is going to start from Ferozpur road.

LTC’s CNG Bus Service will provide Free Transportation service for Older and handicapped people, specially trained traffic wardens will be on duty, Separate Cabin for Ladies in each bus and most of all it is an AC Bus Service with Non-AC fares.

Following roots will be starting service from 16th November and 1st of December 2011

16th November : B-9 / B-20 B / B-34 B

1st December : B-1

Similar CNG Bus Service will soon be available in Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi and other cities.

USAID is going to start an online Directory/Portal for Women Entrepreneurs in Pakistan to promote their business in local and international Markets. This web based portal is being designed to become a powerful networking tool. It is hoped that this portal will not only encourage cross border trade but will also be demonstrative of an effective trade facilitation tool that may be replicated at a larger scale for a national level trade portal.

Government of Punjab going to launch Ashiana Housing Project for low income people in Sargodha after its success in Lahore. Application Forms can be obtained from all branches of The Bank of Punjab in Sargodha devision, or you can download the application form for Ashian Housing Scheme Sargodha from PLDC Website.

Last date for the submission of application forms is July 15th 2011. it is mandatory for the applicant to have an NIC from Sargodha region including surrounding cities Mianwali, Bhakkar and Khushab.

Price of 3 Marla ready house is Rs.11,90,000/- per home. 25% advance and remaining payment can be given on easy installments. If you want to pay in full, you will get 5% discount on total price of house in Ashiana Housing Scheme, Sargodha.

Daewoo Started Bus Service from Okara Cantt

 

Daewoo Pakistan has added new rout to its countrywide bus services, from Okara Cantt to Lahore, Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Moro, Sukkur, Rahimyarkhan and Bahawalpur.

Service has been started from January 14th 2011. Cargo service also available.

UAE Pakistan Assistance Program

 

Govt of United Arab Emirates (UAE) is taking this huge and futuristic initiative for the rehabilitation and development of flood effected areas of Pakistan under Khalifa Bin Zaid Al Nahyan Foundation.

This Plan includes:

2-  Rehabilitation of Medical Facilities

Free Education for Deserving Students at Danish school

 

Govt of Punjab has taken another step towards the betterment of needy, poor, deserving and talented students in province by starting this great educational project “Danish School System” under the Food Support Programme, children of registered families would be provided all facilities free of cost.

1st school has been inaugurated by CM Punjab at Rahim Yar Khan.

The education upto FSc classes would be imparted in these schools and under this system every school would be english medium adding religious courses would also be started in these schools. The students would be educated in two shifts in Danish schools and they would also have free boarding and lodging facilities.

Danish Schools will give admission to the children from low income (Less then Rs.6000/- per month) families.
