Ashiana Housing Project by Punjab Govt

CM Punjab has taken another good initiative for low income and homeless people in Punjab by starting Ashiana Housing Project. This project is initially started in Lahore and will be spread to other cities soon. House allotments will be done by clean balloting.
The announced project have all the necessities of a modern residential area, like roads, sewerage, water, electricity, hospital, transport, commercial area, parks, health club and community center etc.
The Ashiana Housing Project is offering to categories of ready to live homes with very affordable pricing and easy installments upto 10 years. A 3 Marla Ready to Live House will cost Rs. 8,40,000/- and 5 Marla house cost will be Rs. 11,90,000/- per house.
Ashiana Housing Project consists of special quota for the poor, widows and disabled persons.
Application forms can be obtained freely from any branch of The Bank of Punjab or downloaded from PLDC website.

All the people who applied with 3Marla and 5Marla housing have the choice of taking 2Marla and 3 Marla houses instead of 3Marla or 5Marla or can get the refunds as par the latest advertisemnt.
Only problem we are facing is that in Pakistan nobody wants to give information. there is no access to information. I have rung and emailed the concerned authorities PLDC many times to know the housing plan but got no answer.
The first advertisement mentioned 5Marla house with 2 beds, 2 baths, 1sitting room and 1 kitchen. 3 marla with 2 beds, 1 kitchen, 1 bath, 1sitting room.
second advertisemnt doesn’t show any house plan. it just says 2Marla double story and 3marla double story. There is no mention of how many rooms or bathrooms, kitchens, sitting etc will be the part of this.
These things should be mentioned before getting too many applications or deceiving people.
one more important thing we don’t know what kind of meterial will be used in these houses.

Form is not available in Punjab Bank D-Ground Faisalabad they say that form is only for police and army martyrs family not for civilian.

We never knew about this LAHORE ASHIYANA HOUSING Scheme until today when I visited Punjab government website. These are affordable ready to live homes. It is good if it is free from corruption. Now I see that even balloting has taken place. Our family urgently needed such homes. Where this scheme houses are located? We did not get any benefit from Shahbaz Sharif government. Government should openly give such homes to every citizen.
